Welcome to Wesley United Methodist Church @ The Bridge  located in Jeffersonville, Indiana. We hope you will take a minute to explore all the ministries and opportunities we offer and plan to visit this weekend or join us for worship online via "live streaming."

In 1867, Wesley was founded in the home of two former slaves, an upstart church with a big dream of becoming a church that welcomes thinking people who were not actively involved in a church. These 152 years have been an amazing journey with thousands of people finding greater hope, purpose and meaning here in their lives. And, they have found that a church like this can quickly become a great place for personal connections and relationships that will last a lifetime. The life of our church is guided by the following statements:
  • Our Purpose is to build a Christian community of unity where non-religious and nominally religious people are becoming deeply committed Christians.
  • Our Journey is to know, love and serve God.
  • Our Vision is to become spiritually formed as a community of Christians seeking to win souls and make disciples.
